As the warming sun begins to creep over the tops of the coniferous forest on a cool mid September morning, Canada geese appear out of the early morning fog and land on Fallen Arch Lake. The geese are making their move south from the far north, using this extremely secluded northeastern Minnesota lake as a rest stop.
