Large snow flakes are falling at the Garfield Slip of the Port Terminal in Duluth, MN, in early February. Great Lakes Fleet vessels M/V Presque Isle and M/V Edgar B. Speer, both 1000' ore carriers, are now also part of the winter fleet, undergoing repairs to ready them for the upcoming shipping season. Off the Speer's stern is another winter fleet, 2 tugboats of the Great Lakes Towing Co.
